ATTENDING FLOWTECH CHINA (Shanghai International Pump & Valve Exhibition)
Our team has just got back from the Shanghai International Pump, Pipe & Valve Exhibition (FLOWTECH CHINA) at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Hongqiao, Shanghai. The event, which is recognized as one of the leading fluid control technology trade fairs in Asia, featured more than 1,200 exhibitors and attracted thousands of professional buyers from global water treatment, HVAC, fire protection, chemical processing and general industrial industries. We wanted to present our full range of butterfly valves and the special PTFE coated check valve to the overseas distributors and we also wanted to identify the latest trends in smart actuation and corrosion resistant valve linings.
The PTFE Coated Double Flanged Type Check Valve designed for unidirectional flow in aggressive media. All wetted parts are covered by a thick PTFE layer, which confers very good resistance to acids, alkalis and solvents, while the double flanged ends guarantee a safe assembling in high-pressure pipelines systems. The central theme of our presentation was a full line of butterfly valves designed for a wide range of industrial and municipal applications:
Wafer Butterfly Valve & Lined Butterfly Valve — The wafer-type design provides a compact sandwich flanged-in space suitable for general water and utility services. The lined model has a PTFE / PFA inner liner which fully isolates the metal body from aggressive fluids making it suitable for chemical and pharmaceutical process lines.
Lug Type Butterfly Valve & Pinless Lug Type Butterfly Valve — Both dead-end service capable; the pinless variant eliminates through-pins to reduce crevice corrosion and simplify maintenance in seawater and chemical environments.
Flange Type Butterfly Valve — Built for positive shutoff and straightforward alignment in larger-diameter and higher-pressure pipelines, such as main water transmission or cooling system lines.
Grooved Type Butterfly Valve — Quick-install grooved-end design made for fire protection and building service applications where speedy assembly and disassembly are maximized.
Ductile Iron Flange Type Butterfly Valve & Ductile Iron Grooved type butterfly valve — Robust GGG40/GGG50 ductile iron body with epoxy coating, meets superior mechanical strength and economic benefits to the service of municipal water, drainage and HVAC systems.
All butterfly valves can be provided with manual lever, worm gear, pneumatic or electric actuator, are equipped with ISO 5211 top flanges for easy automation upgrading. Body and disc may be manufactured in ductile iron, cast steel or stainless steel with PTFE, EPDM, NBR or Viton seats based on service requirements.
